Great River Medical Center: Emergency Room

I thank each and everyone of the Doctors and Nurses that were in the ER on July 4 2021. My husband was brought in with a stroke and their immediate attention to his emergency needs have allowed him to progress and continue to do so. Having to have been flown to Little Rock Hospital for continued care, doctors there spoke of their great care and decisions that helped immensely to his great progress. I thank you for your comfort and explanations of what was happening to myself also at this time. You are the best. Again thank you.

Wow. this “emergency room” is non compliant with every aspect of mental health laws. its sad that when a crisis happens they ignore all mental health emergencies. its a damaging cycle to all community members who rely on the ER to help triage mental health symptoms. For example, If you need mental health placement they will NOT do their job and order a psych consult…instead they will release you after running a few labs. rather than calling their independent contractors for psychiatric evaluation they “medically clear” you and hope you dont kill your self or someone else. its a disgrace and extremely unethical. Also, when they release you, they dont give you any referrals. Anyone needing mental health help should be able to get help at anytime from their community ER. I can only imagine ho

I wish I could give negative stars. Went into that ER so often for chest pain and shortness of breath only to pretty much be told it's a panic attack, it's your stomach, it's heartburn. Moved to Ohio last week and find out I'm having double bypass surgery tomorrow.

Everything awesome except when they take blood or do iv’s. Kind of tough to bare.

I'm a truck driver from MS and had to make a trip the ER. The staff was extremely courteous and prompt and very professional. I highly recommend this ER.
