Great Expressions Dental Centers - Westchester

Today my experience with Pamela, Dental Hygienist was extremely successful. She’s knowledgeable, caring, supportive and of course very professional. I left feeling very satisfied about my dental care. Looking forward to seeing Pamela again in six months. The staff treats me in a caring, supportive and respectful manner. On February 19, 2026, without provocation, I was ambushed, abused, lied to, and humiliated by Mailyn Velazquez, the office manager at Great Expressions Dental/Yonkers, NY. I was also lied to and made fun of by the front desk people, Dylan, Karla, and Frank. This was all about the return of a product, which was the office manager, Mailyn Velazquez ' fault to begin with. She gave me and charged me for an extra electric toothbrush I never ordered. Then, when I returned it, she gave me a hard time and refused to give me my refund. Instead, she flipped the script and attacked me without provocation. I did my due diligence, but the violent office manager, Mailyn Velazquez decided to turn on me, without provocation. I have been a patient for about 2 years and have had constant problems. Most recently, today, I was scheduled for a 12pm cleaning and was not seen until 12:30 after asking the front desk for an update. The hygienist was lovely but when I asked how long to see the doctor she came back to confirm the doctor had actually left for the day with no notice to his patients. Upon checking out the front desk made no mention of the doctor leaving either and when I realized this they just asked to reschedule with no apology or explanation. This is after having an appointment in August 2025 canceled with no warning only to find out while checking in and when I was reschedule for later in the month at 8:30am I was again told during my appointment that the doctor wouldn't be in until 10 and was asked to

recently made an appointment for a cleaning at this dentist office and had an excellent experience! Dylan and his team took wonderful care of me, making the visit comfortable and thorough. Their professionalism and friendliness really stood out, and I left feeling well cared for. Highly recommend!

The doctors are good but everything else about this place is absolutely horrible. There is 5 people working at the front desk quite literally trained to lie to patients about availability and everything else. If you value your time and more importantly your health, do not ever go to this place. They lied to my face about the office being closed on a day that I can guarantee it was open on because other members of my family were having work done on that very same day. They will gaslight you and play dumb.
