Great Expressions Dental Centers - Grosse Pointe

This office feels like a family. The front desk staff (Sparkle and Grace), the hygienists, and their assistants are friendly and kind. Dr. Kaul and Kalynn are wonderful. They treat my sons with such care and respect. I had to see Dr. Guest due to a scheduling conflict, and he was very accommodating. His assistant, Savannah, was fantastic.

I came in for an “emergency” from chipping my tooth on some food. They got me in and fixed my chip and closed my small gap in less than an hr. My husband came in for a toothache last year and they took him in and fixed his tooth. He praised the worked they did. I transferred from the Midtown location to the Grosse Pointe location due to moving, and I love this franchise. I highly recommend Great Expressions!

I arrived five minutes early for my 5 PM cleaning. X-rays were taken, and the hygienist arrived and started her exam she then made a comment asking if I brushed my teeth that day, which felt unprofessional and embarrassing because I had already informed her of my medical history .She quoted me for a deep cleaning and repeatedly suggested I could reschedule she stated this before, during ,and after my exam. After my exam, the dentist discussed needed work. When the hygienist returned, I asked to make a phone call and she stood over me, I then requested the quote for the dentist’s work as well. She refused and said I had to wait until she was finished because she needed to start immediately, which was not true. Why schedule the cleaning for 5 o’clock if you’re gonna rush through everything

I love the Great Expressions office on Mack in Grosse Pointe. Dr. Kaul is knowledgeable, skilled, professional, and kind. The entire team of hygienists, techs, and desk staff are friendly and capable. Whenever I go there I know my teeth and gums will be well cared for, and I feel like I am greeted like family. Super office!

I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve never used a chain dental firm, opting for private practices in the past. But my insurance changed and I decided to give it a try. They were friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and didn’t try to pressure me into a service I didn’t need. I highly recommend Savannah and Dr. Guest.
