Grapevine Medical Lodge

My mother-in-law recently stayed two weeks at the Grapevine Medical Lodge following a week's stay in the hospital. Her main need was for physical therapy in order to return to our home. She was released from the hospital on a Friday night about 6:30 and would not arrive at the Lodge until well after 7. When I called the Lodge to share that the transport van would be late and we will arrive late, I asked if I should bring my MIL a meal since we would arrive after dinner serving at the Lodge. Michelle, who works the welcome desk (and does many more things I'm sure) took my call and said we would have a meal put on hold for my MIL and she could eat upon arrival. My MIL's room (which turned out to be a private room) was ready for my MIL and her meal was delivered promptly upon her check-in. My

My experience at the Grapevine Medical Lodge has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walk through the doors each day, I’m greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Misheal, Sandra, Tamika, Angie, and Kamre always make me feel welcome, and their daily interactions bring a sense of comfort during what can be a challenging time for families. I am very grateful for GML and the entire staff. They have taken good care of my mother for over 5 years. The staff works very hard. It's not an easy job taking care of the elderly/disabled but I see genuine care and concern from the staff every day. And it's a blessing. My mother has thrived in this community. She's been happy, made "friends" and I know she feels safe. Nothing is perfect 24/7 but the staff truly work hard and it shows. And I feel extremely grateful!!

Excellent care for my wife who is a stroke victim. The staff has been very responsive from Day 1. The Administrator Doug and Director of Admissions Angie have been extremely accessible and helpful whenever needed. Everyone I have dealt with has shown concern and willingness to do whatever they can to help, and when going through an experience like this, it is truly appreciated. I very highly recommend Grapevine Medical Lodge.

Grapevine Medical Lodge really seems to love on and care for their residents. They get to know them by name and truly aunderstand their capabilities. They try to help the residents be the best version of themselves. There are activities options to do and good food options as well. They run the operation very well and keep it clean and smelling nice. It starts at the top - administrator Doug Cares for his workers well, so they in turn can care for their residents well.
