My grandmother was admitted to Grandview a couple of weeks ago. I have nothing but good things to say. We first met Kim at the hospital and she was very kind and helpful. After Grandma was admitted we met Teresa, the nurse she was so kind and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Amanda from admission was wonderful, after sitting down with us and answering all of our questions. She asked was there anything else that she could do, we asked for her to get someone to get some ice water. She took the time to get the water herself. One of our favorite night shift nurses was Jasmine. she made me feel better when I left at night knowing that she would be there. I can't name all the CNAs that we came in contact with but they were great. Last but not least the therapy department, grandma

This facility was amazing to my late husband, Fred! Poor thing was demented and could hardly walk, but by golly, Grandview Post Acute made his final days on earth comfortable and easy. Uriah and his staff were attentive and listened when we had concerns. Amber and Phyllis were both lovely to chat with and helped whenever they could. The negative reviews about this place were when people worked there who didn’t do their job. Those people have since been dismissed. Grandview is now better than ever and running much more smoothly.

My mother in law was at Grandview for a rehab stay. During this time my wife and I were in and out at different times of the day. We saw many opportunities for improvement facility and staff wise, but want to specifically call out Whitney Tayes. Whitney was very instrumental in helping my mother in law get better. One can tell that this is not just a job for Whitney, but those patients on the hall are her people. One instance that stands out was that there was a difficult patient across the hall and when there was an issue Whitney handled it with patience and compassion. She is truly one in a million!

First, I want to acknowledge that the staff members I encountered were kind on a personal level. However, beyond that, this facility is absolutely unacceptable and, in my opinion, should be shut down. My grandmother was admitted on Friday, and I went to visit her last night. From the very beginning, there were serious issues: Entry Issues: We waited 15 minutes just to be let into the building. In the end, we had to ask another visitor who was leaving to find someone to unlock the door. Safety Concerns: When we reached my grandmother’s room, a man in a wheelchair entered, blocked my daughter and me in a corner, and said, “How are you going to get out now?” While my son ran to get a nurse, this man began hitting my grandmother’s feet. Keep in mind, my grandmother was actively dying at thi
