Grand Ledge Urgent Care | University of Michigan Health-Sparrow

I decided to visit this urgent care mainly because I work for Sparrow and also it’s near my house. I’m also not going to clog up the ER for something that isn’t urgent. I went in on 12/18/2025 because I caught something earlier that same week on Monday and it was getting worse instead of better. Plus, OTC meds weren’t doing anything, so I thought I may have strep throat. I got “in line” online, before leaving my house, but left right away because I got a text saying I was 1st in line. Arrive at the Urgent Care, checked in online and proceeded to sit in the waiting room. I probably sat there for 10 minutes before I realized I had to use the kiosk to really check in. Why have the ability to get in line online and also do e-check in, but you also have to use some kiosk when you arrive? Oh, th

I had an excellent experience with the Sparrow Urgent Care in Grand Ledge. I appreciate their acknowledgement of how seriously ill my grandchild was and immediately had us back in a room. The MA who took the history, the NP who did the exam and the staff who performed the breathing treatment were all very informative and professional. When it was determined that an ambulance transfer was needed, they provided my grandchild with a few toys for the ride to make them more comfortable. EMS quickly arrived, report and handoff of care was quick. I truly appreciate everyone who took such awesome care of us, Thank You!

Staff were really helpful and kept an eye on my little one while I had xrays done. However I went to clean his binky that hit the floor in the sink and checked the cleanliness of it before hand by wiping it with a paper towel..... came away with what appeared to be BLACK MOLD. When I pointed out to a nurse, she proceed to say, "Oh yeah, all the sinks here are like that. The water here is disgusting" makes me question the sterilization of the place. How can you clean your hands if the sinks have black mold growing on them?

Doctors are a joke. Could t be any slower. Said we’re going to write a script and never did. Call and asked about it said all doctors busy and would do it later. NEVER DID WRITE the script. They will definitely take your money but could care less about doing there job. There isn’t a way to put less than 1 star so it gets 1 star

Don't waste your time. It was bad as regular Sparrow and is surprisingly worse now that is U of M Sparrow. I've only ever been a Sparrow patient but am considering switching to McClaren. Can't be any worse.
