Grady Memorial Hospital

Went to Labor & Delivery unit for IV due to dehydration. My experience from entering ED to being taken to L&D was great! I wasn’t expecting much due to the previous reviews, guess that’s why it’s important to form your own opinion. Triage nurses were friendly, student doctor was thorough in her questioning, Dr. West was also knowledgable and patient.

There are some special light workers/nurses in healthcare at Grady hospital. Nurse Anthonia in Labor & delivery at Grady hospital is the definition of professional/loving/caring soul. May the most high gift, love, and protect her in all her endeavors. This woman not only took care of her patient, but showed love & compassion toward the family. She is what the world is missing. Her high standard of care should be emulated and followed. An amazing woman is an understatement. Thank you ma’am for the reminder of love, compassion, and professionalism. She felt like family. I hope you all have an amazing experience in healthcare as we did.

I had to pay a visit to the Emergency Department recently, which is obviously something no one really wants to do. But my experience with the Emergency Department at Grady was honestly exceptional. I was seen promptly and treated with care and respect by all of the staff that I interacted with. The technologists who ran the various tests I went through were especially personable, professional, and honestly - funny! That helped make the whole experience a lot more enjoyable and pleasant than it could have been. My provider was Ann G and she was truly excellent. She navigated me through the whole process with professionalism, courtesy, and all of the explanations I wanted. She made me feel especially seen, heard, and cared for. She is a fantastic provider. I have been going to Grady since 2012 and I had one of the worst doctors I've ever met there in the emergency room department. This doctor goes by the name of Dr Kim. He's a Chinese guy and I wouldn't recommend anyone to want to be seen by him. We as patients want doctors that care about our health, not someone who answers all of our questions with, "I don't know what to tell you," and recommend that you go somewhere else. I reported him to patient care and it's being investigated. Which I honestly know nothing is going to happen but I want them to know, that doctor can't talk to patients that way and think it's ok.

I would 1st like to say that this was some of the best dr an nurses I every had. On my 3 an half night in icu the nurses was outstanding an them when they moved me to private room awaiting surgery the nurses there was very outgoing an quick to help. The Dr's who done my surgery was very understanding an helpful also
