Grady Health System - Human Resources

My mother, a retired nurse from Grady had life insurance and recently passed. For the past month I have attempted to reach someone in HR to find out next steps only to be given bogus emails and numbers. I have sent 4 emails and left several messages to no avail. This is POOR Customer Service for anyone who recently lost a love one.

I'll be back back with the social worker's name!! She put a metall incapacitated ill young lady in an Uber to a shelter that she knew was full. Leaving this person tio be on the streets!!

This is the Worst Hospital. My son was transported to this hospital via a 10:13, the attending doctor in the ER called me and asked me the reason why he was transported via10:13, I specifically explained the reason that was urgent for observation for at least 24 hours of the 72 hour requirement. The dr only held my son for 1 hour and 27 minutes and claims she deemed that he could walk outside Grady into the streets after telling me she would call me back to give me an update, she never called back. Everything he said to her was not true, he did not have a cell phone to call anyone does not have cousins in Atlanta, little money, and had never visited Atlanta. This dr did not attempt to confirm anything he told her, and just let him walk out the door. She is Negligent because she only asked

Lori Wood, VP of Emergency Management is unprofessional, condescending, rude, and has horrific ethics. She is overpaid for her incompetence

I’ve never been treated so inhumane in my whole life. I requested a wheelchair because I was in a car accident and was denied multiple times for about 30 minutes. Than after finally getting a wheelchair the emergency room police threaten to arrest me. He was about to arrest me, then the manager came out and cleared everything up and gave me the wheelchair back. The officer started laughing with other officers mocking me calling me Rosa Parks. I felt like a piece of inventory that wasn’t worth the shelf. I then waited two hours to be seen and when I was seen they accused me of wanting drugs and implied that my pain was being fake until my drug test came back. The nurses are rude, the doctors are brief and I was treated like nothing more than an insurance claim.
