This review is for Sherali Gowani. After seeing him for years and receiving pretty unremarkable care, I had a short lapse in insurance where I couldn't refill my medication. I explained this to him, as well as my medication situation. Instead of just not taking it anymore, I started rationing it so that when my new insurance kicked in, I could refill my prescription with no large gap in me not taking my medication. He's also not good at sending out reminders, which may be him or the way the office is structured. In any case, I forgot to do a lab he ordered because of it. These two things were all it took for him to tell me I need to do what he says, or I could go find another cardiologist, he won't see me anymore. This review is specifically about Yasmeen Gowani, the pulmonologist. I saw her in April 2024 for a severe and persistent cough. She prescribed an inhaler and told me to take cough medicine. The cough continued and she continued to tell me to take cough medicine. At my insistence, she prescribed an antibiotic but the cough, shortness of breath, and other symptoms got worse. I called her office and her staff told me to give the antibiotics more time even though I had given them plenty of time. I had to beg her office to try another one but it did not work either. I ended up in urgent care and they ordered x-rays which led to a CT scan. The CT scan found that I had double pneumonia, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary fibrosis. First and foremost i love and trust Dr Gawani with my heart health. The entire staff of Gawani Medical Associates are awesome and really caring about your health. Ann & Anna are very helpful and just nice people who go above their job description. I have been going here for 8 years and will always return for my heart health.

Only God knows how hard it was for me to come to the cardiologist because I was so scared. This morning Lily was so kind to me when she put the Holter monitor on me, and it made me feel so much peace. Thank you so much for taking care of my health and for being such a wonderful person, Lily 💗

Everyone from the front desk from making my first appointment they made sure to get you in aspa...(Anna )was great in asking about canceled appointments and asked if I could come in earlier, me yes of course. All the ladies work hard there and I've been there twice. Great team work. Once you're in the back professional, courteous doctor's assistants. Guided and explain everything. So thank you on the pulmonary side. I wish my cardiologist was on my network I would have had both specialist at the same office.. Thanks again, Anna M
