Governor's Center

After suffering a severe brain injury, my mom spent 5 months at the Governor's Center. Our family was extremely pleased with the quality of care she received, and the sincere interest the staff took in her daily well-being. They were warm and genuine, as well as professional. Her recovery has been remarkable considering the severity of her injury, and we credit both my mom's fortitude, the excellent physical therapy staff, and the nursing care she received at Governor's Center for bringing her back to us.

Avoid this place at all cost. DO NOT send your loved one here for skilled nursing care. The administration is inexperienced, does not care about their patients or their families, do not notify the family when the patient has Dr.'s appointments, misplaces the patients belongings, and does not bathe or get their patients out of bed routinely. Keep your loved ones away from this place if you care about them at all.

The aids in this place are still in coming. When I try to get their attention, they ignore me. I have a question, they don't acknowledge me. I think the age of the staff is a comprehensive training course on patient relations. Terry Hulbert.

I just called to ask some questions and the person who answered was so rude. After they mumbled some kind of a intro sentence, I asked “How are you doing?” and the woman bluntly replied “Whose this.” Excuse me! I didn’t call your person phone. That type of service is unacceptable! Then after answering my question, she hung up while I tried to ask another.

The staff were very, very helpful and attentive. My mother looks more than fantastic. The food is plentiful. My mom says its delicious. The place is very clean everytime I've been there. Would recommend this place for everyone.
