I have gotten exams and care here for a very long time. I have never had anything less than excellent care. I feel very lucky to get services from Goodman Eyecare.

This clinic was unable to properly write a functional prescription for my glasses. They tried twice to write and order them without success. They initially said they would keep trying and then changed their minds. They also said they would provide a refund for the improperly prescribed and made glasses but then wanted to condition it upon a full release of all liability for anything they said or did which I would not sign when all I wanted was a refund of the cost of the glasses that did not work (plus overcharge for mailing by their optical department). Also, an employee in the optical department behaved in a manner that I considered to be overly friendly and in fact, unpleasant and inappropriate by standards that I consider acceptable for staff in a business. I was diagnosed with cataracts years ago. The thought of the surgery to repair the cataracts scared me, so I just lived with the progressively poorer vision. Came a time when the realization that I was going legally blind finally overwhelmed my fear of the surgery. I scheduled a visit to Goodman Eye Center. Dr. Elizabeth Shen did my original examination. She was great! Walked me carefully and patiently through the various procedures and options. Explained why some options weren't for me because of my eye's physiology. We arrived at a Lasik procedure that replaced the cataract lenses with lenses that also corrected my vision. I am a patient of Dr. Elizabeth Shen and could not recommend her more. I have early onset cataracts, which is rare at my age. Dr. Shen has continually made me feel comfortable, has made herself personally available, and could not be more knowledgeable on the subject. She did an amazing job on my cataract removal surgery.
