Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo

had my 3rd baby this last week. My husband was out of town on a work trip and family was with my other children so that left me alone for labor & delivery. All of my care team tested Me like family, made sure my concerns were met and took excellent care of me. One nurse stood out tremendously, her name was Sheri Julian I believe on the labor and delivery floor. She 100% went out her way to make me feel comfortable and all of my needs met. Being alone during labor is probably one of the hardest battles I had to overcome but Sheri did EVERYTHING to make sure I was content. You don't meet nurses often that go the extra mile and she did just that. She was exactly what I needed in such a vulnerable time. From holding my hand to walking me through labor. Admitted as a minor a few years ago for Anorexia. Treated so kindly in the ER and upon admission I had the loveliest nurses- always taking time to try and get me to open up (trust I was not the easiest patient) and checked on me when I needed it. Doctors and staff alike have wonderful bedside manner and treat quickly. Wonderful hospital. Nurse Laura in particular was amazing- sat with me while I ate and offered so much support when I was struggling. Thank you guys!

Good morning I have tried to email the hospital but it came back as undeliverable so here i am stuck giving a bad review in hopes i talk to someone higher up. I am not sure if this will reach anyone or fall on def ears but I have to explain my frustration with the infectious disease dept. They have no secretary so no one answered their line or calls you back. I have to call the operator and get nasty with them to page a Dr to have then call me back and hope they dit it. We'll today they have not so im forced to bring my son to the ER. For such a important department they are terrible. The drs are nice but trying to get ahold of one is another thing. My son was on inner muscle antibiotics for 4 week after his surgery and now we're dealing with messed up guts. He's pooping 15-18 times a day

Worst hospital ever. Never go to this place. Alot of staff will treat you like human garbage the rudeness is out of this world. And not to mention their actual ability to do their job is almost non existent. If you want a doctor who knows what they are talking about and cares about your well being DO NOT GO HERE, Boycott this hospital till they learn. I never have made a review in my whole life this is my first one ever thats how bad this place actually is. Not to mention they will waste your whole day away so they can mess around and do what they want. This hospital definitely has a few good staff dont get me wrong but its not like you ever talk to one person about whats going on you talk to about 10 different people having to re explain everything you told them 20 minutes ago. Our son broke his elbow falling off his dirtbike. There was no judgement and only kindness from the moment we walked in and walked out!! They gave pain meds right away and let us know we would be waiting about four hours as the entire waiting room was full. This place did an amazing job! Thank you everyone who works so hard to take care of others every day!!! Dr. Kenyon is amazing and he knows what he’s doing!!
