Dr Hornbuckle has taken care of our dogs while we've visited SSI for the last 2 years. He helped us with a senior rescue and a 1 yr old rehome. Through it all, he's helped us calm down & let science prevail. We're grateful for his compassion & professionalism, and his front office staff are just as helpful!

Dr. Hornbuckle and his team offer great care in a timely manner. He explained everything thoroughly, offered options regarding care, and answered my questions regarding care needs. He is respectful of my decisions regarding care for my geriatric dog.

I was on my annual stop at Jekyll Island from Maryland to Miami. My dog got a sandspur stuck in her paw that I couldn’t pull out so we went in first thing in the morning for help. This facility was clean, the staff were so kind and caring, and my dog was effectively treated in a timely fashion. They turned a ridiculous incident into a pleasant situation. Thank you!

We met Dr. Hornbuckle and his staff when our elderly dog, Levi, had a major medical episode and needed immediate assistance while we were traveling in the area. After a careful examination and evaluation with our consultation, we made the decision to help our companion end his suffering. Dr Hornbuckle had never met us. He and his staff were so compassionate and caring throughout the process and the price charged was very reasonable. If we lived in the area, he would be our vet for sure! Highly recommend!
