This facility is currently taking care of my Aunt. I would like to report that they are doing a fantastic job! The nurses are very caring and the aids do the best they can to handle all of the intense needs of the residents. My aunt has gone from a severe back surgery and unable to sit up to now WALKING in just over a month! The physical therapy here cares about their job and the people they assist. I have had horrible experiences with places throwing items at my aunt, but this place truly cares. I would give it a five, but it is a little stinky,but you can't expect perfection when it comes to nursing homes :)

100 stars if I could. I can’t say thank you enough! When my dad got to Ayden I expected the same below average care that he had been receiving at several other facilities. Heartland of Promedica on the Flower Campus and Wolf Creek Lutheran in Holland being the worst. I thought every nursing home was the same. The team at Ayden definitely proved me wrong. The communication was outstanding, anything and everything that I should of been made aware of, I was notified good or bad. I never took my dad any clothes to Ayden because at other facilities they never got him dressed and he had clothes, brand new in the closet. My sister was there in July I found her care below average clothes missing and still not replaced first day for dialysis her transport by Mobile Care was not scheduled and I had to take her and go pick her up because the Nurse failed to make arrangements for her transport. Many times she got sub standard food because no body helped her fill in her menu. Even after I started helping her fill out her menu she didn't get what was circled some time the food was cold,One day all she had was rice a roll and a small dish of fruit for dinner. When I first came to Heartland Hollyglen I was in terrible shape an infection took over areas om my body and I was in serious pain. One the doctors and nursing staff figured out how to get my pain under control, then I needed to get on a regimented diet and eat right and they provided that. It took time before I could attempt any physical therapy when I did we had to start very slow because movement bought excruciating pain for me. 0nce I was able to do therapy towards recovery I could not even stand but I told the therapists that " One day I will walk out of here " I underwent vigorous therapy as to achieve my goal . So far my mother been well taken care of by the nurses and the aides they are very polite and considerate whenever we have a problem they answer with kindness and they try the best to resolve the issue. The building is very clean
