I am SO GRATEFUL a friend ‘INSISTED’ I check out this facility. Her aunt has dementia & has been here over 8 months. Although we live in Longview we decided to take her advice. My husband is now - comfortably & safely - a resident. Also we’re impressed with the staff we’ve met so far - truly feels like ‘at home’ care. A lot of stress & worry has been lifted off my shoulders & my heart. I highly recommend this ‘smaller’ facility for any loved ones In need. Thank you everyone at Gilmer Nursing & Rehab. ❤️

Not the best place to bring a love one who needs every 2 hr. To be check on. They are understaffed and have a few lazy ads . We have found my 99 year old mom soaked in her urine and poop several times in the first week there. She will be transferred to another place.

Gilmer Nursing and Rehab!!! Everyone has been such a blessing! The past 2 months have been a roller coaster of emotions trying get help for my Daddy. Debra Hall took the reigns and never gave up on helping me get what I needed. She has always returned my calls and text promptly when I have questions. She sees beyond my need and takes care of things before I ask! Special thanks to Candace Brasher! The sweetest nurse EVER! She is thorough and professional. The love in her heart spills over not only to her patients but to their families. Always happy to go over and above her regular duties to assist in any way she can. I have been so pleased with this facility! They care about their residents and the families. They have been extremely helpful during this new season of life. The staff is very friendly, the residents seem to enjoy themselves and it is very clean! I appreciate the work they have done to get my Nanna situated and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I hear Gilmer Nursing Center is a great home with caring staff. The staff truly cares about the ones they care for!!! The marketer is very compassionate and will answer any questions you may have.
