Gilbert Cardiology

I do not recommend this cardiologist. He was arrogant and would not answer questions about prescribed statins. Essentially implied I was too dumb to understand. He let me know how many years of education he had several times. Also ended up putting a heart monitor on me for two weeks. The office knew my insurance was not going to pay for it. The office manager afterward let me know she had never seen my insurance pay. However, the day the monitor went on they said insurance said a preauthorization wasn't needed and had me sign a paper that I'd pay a certain amount "if" insurance didn't pay. I wanted to consult with the doctor, but the doctor doesn't show up on these days. Ended up that insurance said the monitor was unnecessary and experimental. Didn't want to pay. When I came to Dr. Labibidi I had just been released from ICU St. Josephs in Phoenix after a stroke. I had been over medicated by a previous Mesa cardiologist. I knew that I wanted to be switched to a "dignity facility" away from Banner Baywood and their Tri City mess. They need untangled from Baywoods ER! My daughter in law found Gilbert Cardiology and made me an appointment with Dr. Labibidi and he saved my life and my husband! He is responsible for getting my blood pressure back to normal and off of all of the meds I was on for the high blood pressure, which were doing nothing but making me worse. Excellent physician, Dr. Lababidi and great procedure staff. Abigail worked tirelessly to get my test pre auth with my difficult insurance company. Emily and Abigail were extremely helpful and kind. Office phone tree is a nightmare to call into otherwise great healthcare provided.

Dr Lababidi is my main doctor and has changed my life literally. He’s got me on the right path as he took over my care from another cardiologist while I was in the hospital who would not listen to my concerns. Dr Lababidi listened to my concerns and understood my situation well. I’ve also had the pleasure of being treated with his partner Dr AlBasha who’s also wonderful. They both are amazing and take time to explain everything to you, super friendly and knowledgeable. Always concerned with your wellbeing and how to improve yourself.

Dr Lababidi and his staff is amazing. The office staff is amazing also. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They explain everything you ask completely and they make sure you are an active part of your care.
