Unfortunately, the ppl that were in, were not there today, so I'm writing this. Came in Wednesday for pen needles(insulin). My insurance doesn't kick back on until April 1st, but my needles were low. I've been insulin dependent for 13 years now, so I know the stigma around needles, more specifically syringes. So I brought my humaLOG and showed it. I asked could I pay for the needles out of pocket, and the cashier goes to ask the pharmacist. The entire time, the pharmacist is looking at me like I asked for Fentanyl patches, and Morphine, and I hear her say "that's humalin." The cashier comes back, tells me I need a prescription. I say I have a prescription, it's just through Kaiser(again, insurance doesn't kick back until the 1st of April). He says no, and that I can go to Patient First to
There's nothing good about the store in se dc. they never answer the phones at the pharmacy NEVER. you have to call over and over. The outside of the store is nasty and filled with cigarette butts on the ground, the ground is very nasty in front of the store, and the nasty smell of Marijuana from men in front of the store smoking and getting high. It's not a comfortable place to shop. There needs to be serious change.
I don’t normally do reviews for places but i felt i had to do one for this establishment. This store never has anything in stock its mind blowing. If you are going there with a certain thing in mind for dinner please be prepared to make substitutions because it’s guaranteed they will not have all the ingredients. This is very consistent i have been going there for a year now. I thought it was because of covid but other locations do not have this problem like the brentwood giant for example. Stores needs new management or something.
May not have everything all the time or the best prices around the store is generally stocked. The staff is always willing to help you find you WIC or finding any items if you ask. Be patiet with Western Union. You need 2 forms in the state of MD to do a money transfer. It could be a piece of mail or a bank card ect. There's usually one person working the info desk (aka don't F this up for the rest of us in line.) This location does accept coupons and is overall clean. But who am I. Just drop by
Staff was rude and got my account information wrong. I was refused counseling on the prescription I was given. The pharmacist refused to tell me what prescription she filled, which ended up being the wrong one. I spoke with a manager who still refused to provide counseling.
