Giant Eagle Pharmacy

My husband took our daughter 2x to try and get her flu shot at this giant eagle pharmacy and kept getting told long wait times and to try between 12-2 when they had another pharmacist. He took her between 12-2 and same thing 1 hour wait. I took her today and they acted weird about if they could give her one (she’s 4) then suddenly had a long wait time, even though no one else was physically waiting on prescriptions and they had about 5 people working. I went to cvs at ewashington and 306 and was seen in 8min, the dr was very friendly at cvs

Really like this pharmacy. They are very helpful and always makes sure I still need prescriptions. They notify me in advance when a prescription is being ordered too!

I'm looking for a generic medication for my daughter. Ironically, I need to find a particular brand of generic because although the active ingredient is identical in the name-brand and all generics (in theory), the inactive ingredients vary and my daughter is severely sensitive to one common in this medication. There is no process for finding generics by brand. Generic manufacturers do not maintain lists of locations that stock their products. I'm left calling every pharmacy in the region, begging them to read the ingredients in their generic medicines, asking if they can order a generic by brand name (no), and then starting again. Although I did not find what I needed at this Giant Eagle, the pharmacist was patient, complete, knowledgeable and sympathetic to a degree I have yet to en
