GI for kids

My son and I love everything about this place. Always clean, everyone is so nice, and Dr Tackett is always thorough and patient. She answers all my questions and even asks my young son for his input. I’ve called multiple times and always get my questions answered or a call back with the answers I need. My son loves his doctor, the nurse, and the front desk clerk. My appointment needs are always accommodated even though we can only come one day of the week. Even more important to me, my son has made so much progress with his condition since we began! We are so grateful for this facility.

The two star review has nothing to do with the doctor. The doctor is absolutely amazing. She has done a lot to help my son. She has found out allergies. She’s done tons of testing to make sure that he doesn’t have more allergies. It’s been a very educational and good experience.. Now with that being said, the people that work the front office I don’t understand why I can’t ever get a phone call answered, And if I do happen to get a phone call answered after three hours of calling I asked for a prescription to be sent here. It is a week later still not sent. I told her that I needed a two week follow up. That’s what the doctor wanted she set it out for a month and a half. Last time I was in the office and got my four week follow up appointment. She said alroght got you scheduled. I walk out

I must say that G.I for Kids location in Corbin Ky. Has by far been one of the most professional and educational importance medical decisions in my child’s health we have made. Rachel Jones Tackett one of their seeing physicians has opened my eyes. Her first go to is almost never medication and is always about my child’s best interest. She and her staff in Corbin Ky have my made a difference like daylike to dark. And it’s not just about her gestation but as well as her mental health. My child is as well autistic and it’s hard to find someone who she can relate as well trust. Thank you Rachel Jones Tackett and your amazing staff. My daughter has been a patient of Rachel's in Corbin for about a year now. Rachel caught a difficult diagnosis and it has changed our lives. We had to completely arrange my daughter's diet and it has been a huge adjustment. Rachel has honestly been a life saver. She is compassionate, kind, and she really cares about her patients. She's always been available any time I have had questions or needed her. My daughter adores her. She is always so sweet to her and she talks to her about things in a way she can understand. We love our GI for Kids family! Rachel and the rest of the staff are amazing. I highly recommend them!

Getting an appointment was easy but the woman working the front desk was incredibly rude. We seen the practitioner she was super friendly and nice and seemed like she had a plan. She wrote out 4 prescriptions for my 3 month old and changed his formula without any diagnostic testing to see what issues he was having. Within the next few days he passed black stool almost like tar so I called the office super worried about it. Anything you read online points to bleeds in the GI tract. I called to talk to a nurse about what was going on. She was busy ( not a big deal) so she had to call me back. When I received a call back I asked if I needed to take him to the ER she said..... Ummm no, maybe I think it should be fine...... She 'thought' my 3 month old would be fine. That's an unacceptable ans
