GI Care for Kids Stockbridge

I am not a happy with this place. The quality of the office is sad looking, dull and gloomy. But that’s not the worst part. The staff seem miserable to be there. They are not friendly and starred at me when my kids were misbehaving. Yeah I get it kids being loud in a doctors office is annoying, but I’d appreciate it is I did not get starred at like I have three heads to the point I feel uncomfortable. It’s incredibly difficult to get in-touch with the nurse. They tell you 7 business days to get a doctors note. Am I supposed to be out of work for 7 days till I can receive a doctors note for my child? That’s insanity. You have to leave three messages and complain to the front desk till you get a call back. received a callback from this office early in the morning to discuss my insurance and upcoming appointment, but the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. As I tried to explain my current insurance and asked questions about how the process works, I was abruptly told they didn’t accept United Healthcare and advised to call the billing department myself for answers. I’m not sure why they reached out if they weren’t prepared to answer patient questions. When I called back to clarify that my insurance would be changing, I was met with a dismissive attitude, placed on hold, and even hung up on. Appointment scheduler is nasty. Just doesn’t care. If they are willing to talk to me like trash how will you treat my child? Pay attention parents!

Not impressed with the Doctor or Doctor nurse at all.
