GI Alliance of Illinois: St. Charles

Went multiple times, got talked down to by their nurse practitioner who offered me options for my care that are DANGEROUS to the intestinal tract and colon. Any basic google search will tell you to avoid some few things she told me to do. And once I told her what I wasn't willing to try because I know that this chronic pain has nothing to do with what she told me to do, she basically told me that since I have no insurance I just have to try it anyway. All the while talking to me as if I were some unknowing child. If you do not have insurance, find another place or state very clearly PRICE DOES NOT MATTER. I was talked out of every perscription option I had asked for as it was "too expensive considering you (I) have no insurance". Unacceptable behavior from the nurse practitioner Samantha L

Dr. Victor and his entire office team are caring, professional and great at all they do . However the phone service is very challenging. They are very polite, but due to apparently not being medical professionals (difficulty understanding medication names and medical conditions) as well as not entirely proficient with English as their primary language, it is a difficult and arduous process to complete the medical phone assessment as required when scheduling an appointment to see Dr. Victor. I again was required to go through this service when calling to apologize and reschedule my missed appointment. The ability to for me to speak directly with office staff (which I was ultimately able to do & they were great) would have saved us all time an and a few calls back and forth. I reported a

Was in a little over a month ago, and was completely gaslit by the nurse practitioner. TMI but...daily GI issues that wakes me up at 430am everyday for the past 3 years and it lasts for hours...she says "what's so bad about that?" Don't come here for GI issues, they dont even think they are a problem!

Jennifer was personable and seemed very competent. As I mentioned to her, I feel I should have an opportunity to meet with Dr Victor before my procedures since he is new to me. She scheduled my procedures but I feel like the very important element of making the acquaintance with my doctor has been missed..

The PA was very nice and informative. She put my mind at easy and told me what to look out for. Thank you for helping drop my nerve level down to zero.
