GHC-SCW East Clinic

My mom has had many terrible experiences in the last year. Her doctor brushed off her brain tumor and I had to fight for a referral. Well now she has to have brain surgery. I have gotten involved with her healthcare and the staff is just absolutely terrible and doesnt seem to want to help at all. I have had a few great people but overall its nothing but a headache. They have canceled appointments without speaking to us first. Her doctor is sick all the time and when we try to reschedule they show no urgency in getting her in. She has gone without meds several times due to them canceling her appointments but saying she must be seen or just simply forgetting to send them in. Trying to get FMLA is very hard. Kayla an MA seems to hate her job and has blown us off. Called to speak to a manager

There is a chiropractor here that is fabulous. Her name is Stephanie S. Out of the six chiropractors I've seen in my entire life she's the best. It's like she has a sixth sense and can tell just by light touch when something is out of whack.

With the exception of my PCP who is a wonderful, compassionate and caring person, the staff service at GHCSW East Clinic is terrible. I have been suffering from a problem with my right shoulder, I previously had a full rotator cuff repair and biceps tenodesis surgery about 5 years ago. Recently I am experiencing unbelievable pain and my entire right arm is pretty much useless. My PCP was replying to my messages but there is a hitch. The staff (assistants) see my messages first and sometimes they are sent to my PCP and now most of the time they aren't. They pick and choose what messages to send. This is unbelievable that they have that control when what I discuss with my PCP needs to be sent to my PCP. GHC has gone downhill with their service over the last couple of years. Like my D

I have been trying to contact my doctor for over a week about a serious medical issue. I was denied the right by GHC insurance to go to urgent care since I already had a different appointment schedule a week and half way. No one picks up at the office and your call is dropped when you are on hold. I have sent several mycharts, no responce. This is the worst clinic, my suggestion is go litterally anwhere else.

The lady GLEN at the Front Desk was Very rude. I had my Physical Therapy appt today at 3pm. She told me to go down the hall to the left. That was Radiology Dept. I am older with a Walker and get short winded been Hospitized 3 times this year with CHF. One of those was "Code Blue" for 10 minutes. Did NOT appreciate the "run around" and her attitude. She does not protray of good image for Front Desk.
