Get Well Urgent Care Of Oak Park

This is the BEST urgent care I have ever gone to. The doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. They explain things fully and allow the patient to understand and process the details. I loved how the doctor took a very conversational approach when telling me I had influenza. He sat in a chair and had an in depth conversation with me, exploring all options. He did not rush me and they were busy! I am so grateful to have found this place.

Fast service as always but the quality of the bedside manner has decreased. I came in for a possible reinjury of my ACL/Meniscus and I wasn’t offered a wheelchair. I had to request one after my X-Ray. I was given my shot STANDING and the attending didn’t give thorough aftercare instructions outside of the medication. One of front desk staff seemed annoyed that I asked.

Do not go here. I made an appointment waited for an entire hour. Asked the nurse if someone would see me soon. She returned 15 minutes later saying there were three people in front of me. How could there be three people in front of me when it’s over an hour past my appointment time?!?! Then I call asking for my $65 dollars back since I received no service and wasted my time and they tell me I had my vitals taken so even though I didn’t see a doctor for my actual problem I can’t have my money back. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM

Made an appointment and the site was easy to use. Upon arrival the staff was immediately kind and made sure I had everything up to date during my visit. I spent no longer than what felt sooner than 20 minutes inside for the entire ordeal.

I hardly ever leave reviews but I have to today after what I experienced. So, I have been coming to this Urgent Care for YEARS and have NEVER had an issue. Clean environment, receptionists are always nice, the MA’s and physicians as well and they get you IN AND OUT! BUT TODAY, I had a different experience. The receptionist at check in wasn’t welcoming at all, she was on the phone the whole time, having a personal conversation (breaking HIPAA laws) and holding a vape pen in her hand! I was then taken to the back, the MA wasn’t welcoming either. After waiting in the room for 45 minutes without being acknowledged or seeing a doctor, I left! The MA told me to let the receptionist know and when I addressed her politely, she was very RUDE AND STILL ON THAT DANG PHONE! I will not be returning!
