Georgia Urology Pediatrics

Recently my dad had an appointment with this practice. He sat in the waiting room for almost 30 min, then he sat in the patient room for almost 30 min, then he saw the doctor for about 4 min who ordered a PSA check, and then he sat another 30 min waiting for the nurse. He then walked into the hallway to find someone and found a nurse sitting at a computer, so he asked her to help him, and she acted very annoyed at being interrupted. This is extremely poor service. My husband also sees this doctor, and we all like him very much, but the customer service with this practice has gone way downhill in the last few years. It’s a shame, because the doctor is good, but who wants to be treated so poorly just to see a good doctor? There are lots of other good doctors.

Dr. Michael Garcia-Roig is very professional with great bedside manners and a skilled surgeon. Had a great experience here in part to him and Alex. She played phone tag with me (my fault) but remained courteous, friendly and so upbeat. She is absolutely an asset. No parent wants to see their child go through issues but if you have to go to a urologist, this is a wonderful practice!

Waited an hour- once we were in the exam room, Jaleesa, NP came into the room. I’m not even sure that she made eye contact with my daughter, the patient. Jaleesa asked a few questions, didn’t mention repeating ultrasound as she had said she would do following initial visit. Jaleesa said everything appeared to be resolved and we wouldn’t need to come back. Trust me I wasn’t planning on coming back after that visit. Very disappointed 3 months later and as of now no one has contacted. Although, “the owner” responded to my review and indicated that someone would reach out to me.

The providers are excellent and the office is great. The only problem is wait time. For A 10 AM appointment. We waited over an hour and a half to get seen. I would understand if it was late in the afternoon and they were running late all day but not so early in the morning.. This isn’t the first time we waited this long.

They took good care of my daughter. She is not a fan of doctors but the one she saw has great bedside manner and put her at ease!
