I just want to say how awesome my surgery scheduler Jill has been! I’ve had phone issues, had to reschedule multiple times, and she has been so accommodating. I was in so much pain and she did her best to get me in as soon as she could..and she asks how I’m feeling every time!

I will never return to this office again! They have the rudest front office I’ve ever experienced! I never can see an actual Dr. just a Nurse practitioner who doesn’t seem to know much about empathy or medicine! I basically went back back in by referral to my primary doctor to find out why I continue to have blood in my urine to be told your fine and it’s just a mystery that I will have to just live with and live in pain! Not maybe I need to follow up with a different type of Dr and let me help guide you! Just you fine let me collect your insurance money and send you on your way!

If I could give this practice -5 stars, I would. I have been to several locations in the past due to moving and have never felt so uncomfortable. The nurse, Chasity (I think, my wife says she was a medical assistant) was extremely rude and hateful. She seemed to hate her job and bedside manner was horrific. She went as far as jerking something out of my hand when giving it to her, audibly sighing, and being short to the point of interrupting myself and my wife several times. When in the room she disclosed personal information regarding the patient next door to another staff member. We heard everything and her calling the patient a name and overall just spoke poorly of the individual. I had a very frustrating experience with Georgia Urology related to billing transparency. I received a payment request with no explanation of what the charge was for. After calling twice and speaking with a supervisor, I was told the charge was for the physician portion of my upcoming surgery, separate from the hospital billing. That part is understandable. What is not acceptable is that I was repeatedly told they do not have a way to send a copy of the bill or any written documentation showing the charge, date of service, or amount owed. The response from both billing staff and a supervisor was essentially, “this is just how we do it.” I was told my only options were to pay without documentation or pay on the day of surgery, again without receiving a bill. First off I’d like to say this rating is based clearly on the accounts department not the doctors or medical staff in the Canton location. I am a stage 3 bladder & stage 2 prostate cancer survivor thanks to Dr Gonzales and his team; first and foremost. At the end of February first of March 2025 Dr G wanted to do another cystoscopy to go into my new NEO bladder to have a check up. The next day an office nurse calls and tells me I owe around 400$ for my part of the insurance and demanded I paid it right then. Long story short we agreed on 200$ and I’d pay the rest when I came in for the test. I had not had to pay up front from day one of any of my appointments with this office.
