I’ve been faithfully visiting Georgia Dermatology Partners for over a year now, undergoing shots, various topicals, and oral medications, but unfortunately, I’ve seen no improvement. In fact, I feel as though my thinning and hair loss have worsened since I started treatment. What’s even more disheartening is that I was given positive encouragement, as if my hair would actually start to grow back. However, all I have to show for it is less hair and damaged pillow cases from the oils. The final straw came when Dr. Jessica Mercer, who has been treating me throughout this ordeal, attempted to reintroduce me to the same medication she had prescribed me for six months. I have always had a great experience at Georgia Dermatology Partners. Dr. Mercer is excellent, personable and extremely knowledgeable. She listens to my needs and provides me with options. I highly recommend!

I first saw Dr. Kirk Saddler for a growth who was fine (waited about 40 minutes to see hime), and then had PA Courtney Smith excise it (one+ hour wait). I thought she was very nice and did a good job removing it. A few days later, she called me (Thursday) to tell me the tests revealed a neoplasm with spindle cells which could be benign or a slow growing cancer. She told me to sit tight and that she'd find out who I needed to be refered to and I'd hear from her by the following Thursday at the latest. I never heard back, so Thursday I reached out to her on the portal, but no response. On Friday, she wasn't in, so I spoke to a nurse who said that the request to see which doctor I needed, hadn't been put in yet, even though Courtney said it would be done the week before.
