Georgetown Sports Massage

My son, a teenaged sprinter, has seen Dr. Hale many times to help with his recovery after and preparation for races. It has been an important part of maintaining his health and supporting his performance. It has always been very easy to schedule massage sessions and Dr. Hale is welcoming and compassionate, in addition to being extremely skilled and knowledgeable with massage. After watching sessions with my son, I scheduled a massage with Terrell to address tension I had been storing in my body. It was a revelation: I left feeling more connected and aware of my own body and health. Highly recommend Dr. Hale!

I have been seeing Terrel for about a month now during the Boston Marathon training cycle. I have had a lot of success with ART in the past and was happy to see that Terrel provided both ART and massage. Terrel works on all of the key areas that I ask for and works with me to explain his technique and what it is addressing. Last weekend I ran a 33:22 10K and was having tightness in my quads and glutes and was worried I may not recover to resume marathon training. After Terrel targeted the muscles I have no more soreness and was able to quickly get back to interval training. Terrel understands a runner's needs and the wear and tear on the body that running sometimes does to us. I know that Terrel's work has been a big part of my success with recovery and injury prevention.

I just recently started going to Terrel. I have to say he really knows his stuff. I went on there with alot of stiffness virtually all over, but mosty in my back due to stress and consistently strength training. He worked on my back for an hour and really improved loosened thing up back there. Pun intended. I gained so much mobility in mid back from Terrel working on me that I was able to add an additional 50 pounds on to my bench press with relative ease the very next day. It was amazing! I look forward to continually seeing Terrel. So he can continue to make improvements to my overall muscle health and mobility. I highly recommend.
