Georgetown Optician

I was already a customer of this chain so was happy when they moved into my area of Southwest DC. The staff are always friendly and helpful and expertly fill my lens-replacement needs. They've also become my sort of drop-in maintenance service. I was surprised twice during my latest repair (replacement pads on sides and bridge for well worn frames). First, instead of a week, it took just 24 hours, because Colter diligently kept looking for the needed part and found it in stock. Then, second surprise, he charged me nothing, as a continuing customer. Super nice.

Awesome store at The Wharf. My wife and I have purchased several sets of eye glasses over the past couple of years. Really nice, well made frames. Great lenses and outstanding customer care. My most recent purchase was scratched and damaged about a month after purchase. Repair was impossible on the lenses. Colter and Hannah arranged for lens replacement, at no cost. I expected to pay for the repair but their attitude was good customer, we can cover this. This is the type of customer service that will makes me a loyal Georgetown Optician customer

Autumn made the experience 100x times better, and she was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly. Autumn’s customer service and expertise are the main reason I’m leaving such a glowing review. The frames can be expensive, but at Georgetown optician you truly get what you pay for! Not to mention they have the largest and most attractive selection I’ve seen. You will not be disappointed!

Special THANK YOU to the kind woman who fixed my husband's eyeglasses. We were out walking, and a nose-piece broke off. Since the glasses weren't purchased at Georgetown Optical, we didn't know if they would repair them. She not only repaired the side that broke, but she also changed out the other side as well. Thank you so much for everything!!
