Since switching from CVS Pharmacy to Genoa Pharmacy, my experience has been fantastic. The team is incredibly kind and professional, always ensuring your prescriptions are filled quickly and efficiently. They also take the extra step of automatically scheduling refills for medications due later. This means I no longer have to worry about remembering to call for refills. Plus, when my medication is ready, they give me a call to let me know it’s available for pickup. Even though their hours of operation can be a little bit of an inconvenience at times, I would much rather deal with that little bit of inconvenience then to go back to CVS and have to deal with them and their unprofessionalism. Expect the pharmacy to remove your prescription from they shelf, if you don't pickup promptly, in spite of the construction traffic snarl. You will be put in timeout for ten minutes... bring a book to read during your high-school detention delay. Enjoy the long dialogues with customers already served in front of you. I suspect staff are former high school teachers or prison guards hoping to hold you in detention for being a late-for-class prescription pickup. Not my first time in detention. I'm sure they're saving labor filling a script, removing it for tardiness, and filling again in active aggression against out-of-pocket meds.

I switched away from the chain pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens. At this pharmacy the staff get to know you personally. The pharmacist goes out of her way to make sure you get any possible discounts on medications. They call you for every prescription to let you know when it’s ready for pickup. The 9-5 hours on weekdays and them being closed on weekends is a minor inconvenience compared to the quality of service I get from this little pharmacy. I will never go back to CVS!

Very overpriced. Staff are prone to fits of temperament, misreading inventory on their own shelves, and wild-accusations against well-meaning customers. FROM THE CDC website: Child Neglect is the failure to meet a child's basic physical and emotional needs. These needs include housing, food, clothing, education, >>access to medical care,<< and having feelings validated and appropriately responded to.
