Genesis Back & Neck | Punta Gorda

Great place!! I’ve been going regularly for a while. Started with an extremely painful disk in my neck and at this point I’m close to the end of treatment and the improvement is amazing. See the attached picture where you can see the disk majorly pinching the spinal cord. That was me, losing strength and feeling in my right arm. It was excruciatingly painful. Originally a doctor had told me I needed surgery immediately. Doctor Kevin did a great job explaining the treatment, and didn’t seem overly worried about it and he was right. This is a far better outcome for me than surgery could have afforded. The doctor and staff at Genesis are top notch! I didn’t know the difference between a bulging disc or herniated disc until I sat down with Dr. Van Nostrand. He went over my X-rays in detail and explained to me what was going on in my own spine. I learned that spinal decompression is different than traction and that the tables here would be able to target my specific disc. The staff is caring and takes their time to explain things and check in on me! Highly recommend if you’re looking to avoid surgery and want an honest opinion.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Dr. V in his team for giving me a wonderful assessment on my bulged disc and then getting me treatment . Five months ago I was barely able to move around now. My wife and I have started Pickleball back up! Well run friendly staff who support you through the process. Each treatment starts to let you feel better and relieve some of the pain that you’re feeling Time on the machine is relaxing and helps stretch you and loosen your muscles I would recommend Genesis as a great location to support your journey to better health.
