Can't leave a zero star, but wish I could. Young female receptionist with brown/black hair is super rude. Didn't even bother to greet me, just stared at me, slid the window open and told me she was going to lunch and I'd have to come back. Not sure why she needs a 45 minute lunch to recover from sitting at a window doing nothing but offer rudeness to people, but there you have it.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Took my son in for severe stomach pain and the pa we saw insisted it was the flu. No fever no exam no sickness. When i questioned her diagnosis she doubled down stating it was the holidays and everyone is sick. I didnt listen and took him to er where he was diagnosed with appendicitis and had to have surgery....hope shes not diagnosing everyone coming in with stomach pain with the flu!

I went on 9/23/25, I had to take my 6 year old son in. Even though the wait was pretty lengthy, I was actually impressed with the action of care that took place when we were seen . The gentleman at the front desk who registered us in was so warm and caring . He also administered a shot to my very nervous child and he did so well as my child did not freak out like I thought he would ! He was able to schedule me an emergency last minute appointment at the imaging center in Wilkesbarre that same night, instead of having us go all the way to Scranton . Very appreciate for that. You can just tell he really tried to make things super easy for us. I wish I got his name. Quick service; I checked in online and was in the waiting room for 15 minutes before they took us back to a room. Everyone was nice and good with my kiddo. They sent the prescription electronically to my pharmacy so it was ready when I got there to pick it up.

RETRAIN YOUR STAFF! No one is greeting you respectfully. Bad enough there’s not a lot of privacy while checking in …. The UDC should try to be a little bit more discreet while checking patient in …. Instead of screaming to the top of there lungs “what lab what are you getting done” “lab work for what”. People come in with all type of illnesses and health issues and don’t want to scream to the entire waiting room what they would like to see a doctor for. The first floor older receptionist needs to be retrained she’s been there too long to not know how to greet and talk to people.
