Gastroenterology East PA & Endoscopy Center

Had my 1st appointment here with Dr. Sylvia Mouttapa. I was very nervous but she is super awesome!! She gave me all of the information I needed about my condition and she gave me recommendations that will keep me healthy. Everyone here from the Dr. to the intake person, to the young woman in the lab were very nice and made me feel comfortable!

This place is fantastic. I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy done (two separate procedures) done in less than 48 hours. We arrived early for both appointments and they took me right back. I was in and out before my originally scheduled appointment time. The staff in the procedure department are phenomenal in customer service and care. My doctor is Dr. You. He is straight to the point, knowledgeable, understandable, and knows his stuff when it comes to the digestive system and such. I will definitely be continuing my GI healthcare here.

I had colonoscopy procedure done today & I was nervous & a little scared at first but The staff here are phenomenal from entry with Jasmin & prep w/ Alice RN and They make you feel comfortable. They are very nice, informative, & there was great music playing that made you feel at ease. Dr. You is a great doctor as he is personable, professional & intelligent & you couldn’t ask for a better Gastroenterologist. I got a rose & was treated very respectful & details were explained throughout this process. I am very glad & thankful that I was referred to this practice as you couldn’t ask for a better team of staff.

Superb Gastroenterology department! Dr Ewege and his staff are Professional, friendly, and courteous throughout! All procedures were done superbly and followup visits were done without issue. Staff always followed up with a how are you feeling a day or so afterwards, which is really great to know they care about you! Savannah did a very thorough job explaining all admin procedures as well. Highly recommend East Carolina Gastroenterology!!!

Had two procedures done by Dr. Tsynman in one week and this is the friendliest and most genuine doctor and group of staff that I have ever deal with. I woke up from both procedures feeling as if nothing happened, even after discharge. They are supportive and answer any questions you have with patience and understanding. I would refer anybody here!
