The check in process is seamless. My wait time was so minimal. The nurse came quickly. My NP, Amy McDonnell, came right behind her. She is especially patient, caring and helpful. She listened to all my concerns and took time to help me with my health issue. Check out was also seamless. The girl was so friendly. They all made my visit more relaxing and pleasant.

Have been to GH twice for colonoscopies and both visits went flawlessly. The staff is friendly, genuine, and keeps you informed at each step of the process, before and after (you’re out cold during). Their phone staff are friendly and helpful; their text reminders are very useful. Best of all, despite doing countless procedures, you don’t feel they are simply “making the donuts,” and that they genuinely care about you as a patient. Definitely recommend this group without hesitation.

Gastro health made my appointment in about a week. UVA kept canceling and rescheduling mine; my (self-canceled) appointment in April 2026 would mark 12 MONTHS of waiting. Fire UVA and hire Gastro Health. I'm genuinely impressed.

Staff was very easy going, informed and kind. Every step of the way was explained. They were very professional, it was like an assembly line service in the very best of ways. We laughed several times prior to the procedure and the staff made the experience very nice. I would highly recommend.
