Checked in with a very nice receptionists and told it was a 2 hour wait. Understanding it’s the flu season and how bad things are now, we were ok with 2 hrs. Two turned into 4 long hours. Most disappointing was the actual Dr. first name is Nick. Not even sure what his last name is as he never introduced himself when he finally did come into the exam room. I was there with my child and he never once looked at my child or spoke with him. Again, a busy day with lots of sickness, but my 1 star is for the long wait and the incorrect Rx. After arriving at the pharmacy within 20 minutes of leaving the urgent care, found out the Rx had to be ordered and not available for 2 days. Not great for a UTI infection. Dear Garnet Health Urgent Care Billing Team, I am writing to file a complaint regarding a billing issue that has been ongoing since our visit to your facility in November 2024. Both my husband and daughter were seen at Garnet Health Urgent Care for a bad cough and chest congestion. The physician recommended chest X-rays to rule out pneumonia. Before the visit, I confirmed that Garnet Health Urgent Care accepts our insurance, and I paid the required copay at check-in. I later received a separate bill from Empire Radiology, which I was told handles the reading of X-rays for your facility. My insurance company informed me that Empire Radiology is out of network, resulting in unexpected charges. I decided on urgent care since i did not think my situation was an emergency, but I was in pain and discomfort non the less. The front desk could've been more empathetic and less rushed. Plus eye contact goes a long way. The nurses were very nice. The doctor however, couldve also shown more understanding and less “ lets rush her out.”

The only reason why they say you're in and out of this place is because they don't do anything. I got refused testing because I already have a pre-existing hiatal hernia. But when I go in there saying that I feel like I have a parasite I want to be tested for a parasite they suggest I get the surgery for the hernia first. Instead of simply taking blood or letting me poop in a cup and testing it they suggest get a whole surgery before we can do anything else about these new symptoms you're having... The medical field of a complete joke!! I cannot wait until these doctors get taken over by AI and robots. You don't want to do your job fine a robot with a program will!.

Fast, Friendly, and Truly Caring Staff What a night-and-day difference from other urgent cares (Orange urgent care, Middletown, NY). I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving — no long wait, no stress. The check-in staff was welcoming and efficient, making the process smooth right from the start. The nurse was so friendly, introduced herself right away, and made me feel comfortable while taking my vitals. The doctor came in promptly, within another 5 minutes, and actually listened to everything I had to say without rushing me. It felt like they genuinely cared about my comfort and well-being, and that goes such a long way when you’re not feeling your best. I’ll absolutely be coming here for all my future urgent care needs.
