I’ve had sometime to think about the events that led up to my beloved dogs death just very recently and feel this vet hospital and Dr Marc failed to catch a very serious form of cancer. On 10/29 our dog had a routine visit for vaccines and check up. Dr. Marc felt her chest while she was moving around on the floor and “thought he felt something” but dismissed it as being the way she was sitting/moving. After getting home with her I noticed a small lump in her chest and called Gardens back the next week. On 11/12 I returned with her and a needle aspirate was done. He came back in after looking at the tissue and stated it was a lipoma. I requested it to get sent out for testing and expressed concern that the lump was hard and did not freely move. Dr. Strobel and the techs at Gardens are simply the best. He has been our veterinary for 30+ years, and has provided outstanding and attentive care for our many Great Pyrenees. His experience is always worth our 90-minute drive, and scheduling is always easy and accommodating. His techs are all proficient, friendly, knowledgeable and good with large breed dogs. The prices are very reasonable, especially in comparison with Pittsburgh area practices (according to our friends).

Took my cat there to get her teeth clean. Ended up she needed 4 teeth pulled. Dr. Kaffenes took really good care of my baby. All the techs were so friendly. The people at the front desk were so kind. If you need a vet I would recommend this place or Animal General. They are own by the same people

If I could give negative stars I would. My Cane Corso was a patient at gardens since we got him so when he developed a lump on his groin, which Schulz diagnosed as a lipoma it only seemed reasonable to have them remove it. On the day of the scheduled surgery, we dropped Dozer off at 7am. At about 1pm we received a call telling us that we could pick him up at 4:30pm and we were instructed to bring in baby diapers and junior sweat pants so they would show us how to tend to the wound. We did as instructed and upon arrival Schultz met with us in the exam room and told us that the lump looked more like a hematoma and he had to get aggressive while removing it and it burst. He also told us that Dozer was still bleeding and he had drains in the incision. He suggested that we go get a cup of coffe

Wonderful experience today with Dr. Marc and his tech. Both were very patient and super thorough with our elderly bunny. He took the time to do full exam, ear cleaning and nail clipping, way more than the specific arthritis issue we presented with. Very detailed explanation about the problem and treatment needed. The price was incredibly reasonable for the extent of the care that our bun received. Very happy with our visit! Thank you!
