I originally came to this office for a consultation, and they recommended that all of my mercury fillings be replaced with porcelain because, according to them, mercury is cancer-causing and they now remove all mercury fillings. After the procedures, I later discovered — by getting a second opinion — that mercury was still present in all four of my teeth, fillings that they were supposed to replace. I returned multiple times over the course of a year — at least five visits — because a piece of material was painfully scratching my tongue. Our experience with this dental office, specifically the orthodontic department, has been very disappointing and confusing. My son had a molar extracted, and since it had not erupted, I was concerned about the space closing or future complications. We were referred to the orthodontic department, where X-rays were taken. Despite my son having healthy teeth and a proper bite, the orthodontist decided that he needed braces solely due to the missing molar. Although I was not fully convinced, I trusted the recommendation and proceeded with treatment. After the braces were placed, parts of the braces broke within a month, and additional pieces became loose shortly after.
