Garden City Treatment Center

I was there 2/12/26. It was PACKED. However, everyone was really sweet. They were so busy, but attentive. Acknowledge when you did have to wait due to the amount if patients coming in. Everyone was so sweet and thorough an really made me feel like my situation mattered. I could hear the staff talking and it sounded like a very busy an stressful day, but luckily they had donut cake so maybe that made everyone so pleasant LOL. But Dr. Creighton was thorough, kind, understanding, very easy to talk to and ask questions, and I believe she was a nurse, but Chris was also kind and efficient. The women at the front desk as well were very helpful and really made me feel like a priority. Great team of people.

I went to GCTC on 1-24-26 in the afternoon. There was hardly any patients there. I got right in to a waiting room. I've been going there for urgent care treatment for over 25 years. Dr De Rousi was the best doctor there and helped me many times with various issues. We got to know each other pretty well over the years. He is retired now. I went because I was having severe discomfort in my abdomen. I read up on my symptoms and knew I had something that required an antibiotic. I had already started taking a Prilosec the week before. I described my issues to Dr Sawant and he wanted to do x-rays and blood tests. When he came back he said everything was inconclusive and he suggested I see my primary and a Gastro doctor. The atmosphere in the waiting room makes you forget what you’re there for which is very helpful. Anyone with pain and discomfort also meeting my friend. Robert was pleasant as well knowing that I’m not the only one going through issues Dr. Figueroa is very knowledgeable. I’ve used Garden City Treatment Center for years. It’s great for after work, on weekends…those times when I’m unable to get in with my primary doctor. I’ve always had good experiences, yesterday was no different. Everyone from the front door through seemed to be in a good mood. I felt horrible, but didn’t mind being there.

Dr. Creighton gave excellent advice and info in a calm way. After he took care of me I just felt better. He added some more tests at from the lab in the building. They came back very quickly and we knew for certain that all was well. Plus he added a medicine my other doctors never mentioned. Many thanks for excellent care.
