Galibov Raya

I just had my first visit with Dr Galibov after 5 years of a bad experience with another doctor and I was in tears because I was so grateful to her for her attentiveness, care, and positive attitude. She’s the first doctor I’ve had that considered all angles of my medical issues rather than just telling me to lose weight as a treatment and seeing the next person. She is kind, thorough, and such a welcome change in my physical care. I wish this was the standard of medical professionals everywhere but in my experience, she is truly a diamond in the rough.

I've seen Dr. Raya for a few years at Central Park Endocrinology at 72nd street in Manhattan and she didn't help me at all. I have Type 1 diabetes and ever since I have seen her my A1C went up from 8.1 to 9.9. There were times were she had me take insulin together with pills which didn't do anything to my blood sugar. When ever I came to her she would always say "your sugars are high" even though they were a lot better than the previous appointment. When I spoke to her about reasons why my blood sugar spikes up she always said "no, that doesn't happen, your blood sugar doesn't go up because of so and so" when in fact it did.
