I have been a nurse for 35 plus years and in education for close to 20 and can honestly say that Galen College of Nursing is student friendly. They live up to their mission and go the extra mile for students and their staff. Tremendous resources for students to be successful

The school offers a range of academic programs with experienced faculty and small class sizes. Campus life includes extracurricular activities, support services, and modern facilities. Admissions require specific requirements, with financial aid options available. Students can engage in organizations, volunteer work, and benefit from career support and a strong alumni network, making it a vibrant community to learn and grow.

I am currently a student at Galen College of Nursing, Dallas campus, in the BSN program. Recently, my family went through two incredibly tragic losses that deeply shook us. During this period, I struggled to balance grief, family responsibilities, and my own health—I was even hospitalized at one point. Despite these challenges, I remained committed to my education: I continued turning in assignments, attended classes when I could, and even sat for two exams on the day of one of the funerals. Unfortunately, all of these efforts went unrecognized. I was dropped from my course without understanding or compassion for my circumstances, and my tuition was not refunded. Doesn’t make sense for me to pay another $200 to switch from one program to another. $200 for background check, drug test, etc that was done summer of 2025. It’s literally the exact same information so why would I want to pay again. I wanted to switch programs but was dropped all together. Yet they continue to call & text about “check school email” & “upload documents”. Like really? I’d wait and apply closer to my home or apply to a program that wouldn’t make me to pay double for the exact same thing. Doesn’t make sense at all. No one will even try to help with a solution or anything. Just want the extra money. Nah this school doesn’t seem right at all. Pass on Galen in you can.

I’ve only been at Galen College of Nursing for a few days, but my experience so far has been amazing. From the moment I walked in, everyone has been welcoming and supportive. My academic advisor reached out right away to introduce herself and explain all the resources available, which made me feel like I wasn’t just another student ID number, but an actual person with goals they want to help me achieve. I also met with Felicia, one of the tutors, who is extremely knowledgeable in all areas but has been especially helpful with integrated science. She breaks things down step by step and never makes me feel rushed or judged. Her patience and clarity have made a huge difference already. Micah, my enrollment specialist, has also been a blessing. He is caring, respectful, and always checking
