I had a thorough exam beforehand and an oral exam for cancer which was a plus. Time was taken to ensure there was a clear baseline of my oral health. Each process was explained thoroughly. The cleaning was great. I had a sensitive area and didn't feel anything. I felt very comfortable. This was a great experience. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

The dentist and hygienist were great and made the visit itself a positive experience. However, the interaction with the front desk receptionist was disappointing. When explaining the treatment plans, the communication felt rushed and impatient. For patients who already feel nervous about dental visits due to past experiences, a little more kindness and patience would go a long way. I simply wanted to speak with the hygienist to better understand the treatment plan before signing any paperwork, but the receptionist was dismissive and came across as rude. Then proceeded to loudly speak to the hygienist about how I declined the paperwork in front of the entire waiting room with an attitude like I inconvenienced her somehow. Everyone I’ve spoke to at Gainesville Family Dentistry has been extremely kind. It took me a long time to be seen as a new patient, but once I was in, the process has been fast and easy. Appointment are timely, and their texting reminder system is great. I was given a full price quote on day one for everything I can expect over the next 6 months. I could not ask for a better office experience!

Very nice and efficient. One draw back they don't take my Medicare supp ins with a dental plan too. Sucks cause I paid for the dental plan because they said they took it but not both together. I'm still experiencing a little pain after getting the crown on. I will wait a few weeks to see if it goes away.
