Apparently I was their second client since opening and I didn’t even know it until the doctor came in and proudly told me! The receptionists are fantastic and so so sweet. The techs are equally as amazing. The lobby and rooms are filled with plants that the doc is very proud of and should be! I can’t wait to see how much more of a jungle it is the next time I go back in six months! The hygienist is great also. Only downside was due to my insurance (through the state); I had to have my cleaning separate from my initial appointment so I was there twice in a week). They have TVs in all of the rooms with nature documentaries playing in the lobby and music in the rooms of your choice. I had an emergency visit with an abscessed tooth & Functional Dentistry was able to schedule me within 48 hrs. All the staff was especially kind and helpful, and I felt very well taken care of! The dental assistant, Jill, helped me to feel comfortable & less stressed. Dr. Blake Kingsbury was very knowledgeable and gave me a few clear options with all the pros & cons, and answered all my questions, giving me an education with easy to understand explanations! The Functional Dentistry office is beautiful and well appointed, and has state of the art equipment, which was very impressive. I appreciate very much that they took Medicaid, as very few offices do, and the front desk was very helpful in helping me find additional financing options. I absolutely love this dentist office. The vibe is amazing.. tons of beautiful plants, calming energy, and such a welcoming space. It feels very Asheville in the best way. They have everything in-office to give amazing care, which made the whole visit easy and seamless. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciate Dr. Kingsbury’s energy. My teeth feel so clean, and the whole experience just felt very thoughtful and well done. Highly recommend this dentistry.

Soon as you walk in the door you are automatically greeted with a smile. Both of the receptionists were amazing and very helpful. The dentist is phenomenal. He is awesome at what he does. Also his helper Jill was amazing. This place is the best and I would recommend it to everyone. Please go try them out
