Fun Dental Care

Had an operation done a year ago and realized I never left a review. Strongly recommend Dr Yang at Fun Dental Care. She performed a very complicated operation on one of my teeth, that many places refused to do, which saved the tooth from root canal, and it’s been good for over a year now. She’s extremely skilled, super kind and patient with patients, and always treated me with a smile and answered any questions I had. The clinic is also very responsive and flexible with appointment scheduling.

At first you think "fun dental care," isn't that a oxymoron? But, It certainly IS fun to book an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, be seen at your appointment time, get a thorough cleaning / x-rays / exam in a timely manner, and all knowing it's covered by insurance or knowing about the upfront costs. This is my second time to this clinic, and I will certainly be back!

Overall, upbeat staff. However, I had a terrible experience with Dr. A and her assistant. Most of the time I was uninformed about the care I was receiving until either it was the last minute or I asked. And I wouldn't have known what to even ask had I not done me own research. I've never had to advocate for my own health so hard the way I did with Dr. A, mainly because she was more interested in doing what she wanted instead of being clear on my options and endorsing my autonomy over my own healthcare. She came off as passive aggressive and pushy. I couldn't wait to finish my time there.The other doctors seemed caring and well-skilled, though.

Dr. Gao is exceptionally nice, professional, and skillful. My family and I have visited her over 10 times, and we are all thoroughly pleased with the experience. We intend to continue working with her. I highly recommend her, especially for families with young children!

This place has really earned its name. It IS fun to be able to seamlessly book an appointment and not have to wait months to be seen and to not have to wait long at all in a waiting room. I had to reschedule my initial appointment and it was very easy and they were very polite about it. The entire staff here is friendly, efficient, and kind. They made sure that I was comfortable and continuously checked in to make sure I was not in pain. Everything was explained to me and I feel like I received a deeper cleaning than I have at previous dentists. The office itself is also very clean. Some dental offices will try to talk you into unnecessary procedures and this is not one of them. I could see this being a great place for kids or anyone who gets nervous about going to the dentist. Already boo
