I had a very disappointing experience at Frisco Crossing Dental Group. Since the change in management, the office feels completely different. Most of the original staff appears to have left, and there always seems to be someone new cleaning or working on you. There is no consistency in care, which makes it hard to feel comfortable or confident in the treatment being provided. It also felt like every patient is told they have gum disease and are recommended additional procedures. I was charged for treatments I did not clearly request or fully agree to beforehand. Services were performed automatically, and then I was expected to pay at the end without proper explanation or consent. When I tried to express my concerns, the office manager/front desk staff seemed dismissive and uninterested i
I just wanted to say that everyone cares about to patient here from the front desk to the back office. You have a Dentist Dr. M that will follow up with you to ensure that you’re feeling ok. If you have an issue or anything with work the done they will get you right in a taken care of. I got a root canal on yesterday and today I feeling just fine. They take there time with each patient. Stacy, is also very caring to her you not just another number your a patient and she knows you by name as well. She did tremendous job. Deena was great as well. Sam explained to entire process to me. Alex was wonderful as well. Dr. Ashrqt is the one that completed my root canal was the best I’ve ever experienced. Chan Marie was helpful and made sure I was good as well. Thanks so much! I shall
I visited Frisco Crossing Dental Group in April as a new patient for a simple cleaning and check-up, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. After waiting nearly two and a half hours in the lobby for no explained reason, I was finally called in—only to be told I supposedly needed an immediate full deep cleaning, that I had gum disease, and that my teeth were in “very bad condition.” They quoted me well over $1,500, pressured me to schedule the procedure right away, and didn’t even ask if I felt comfortable with any of it. I am a business owner, and I rarely leave negative reviews, but I also don’t believe in people being misled. I left the office feeling uncomfortable and confused, so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. The next dentist informed me that my
Went for a new patient visit in August of last year and at that appointment was told I would be needing deep cleaning and a lot of extra treatments that, of course, were not going to be covered by insurance totaling close to $2,000. I denied the extras and they still tried to force them onto me. They completed a basic cleaning but Dr. Samina Ashraf continued to insist on treatments I don't need. Going back 6 months later was a mistake. Routine x-rays and an exam were done but after they stabbed into my gums, which of course makes them bleed, my ONLY option was to have a deep cleaning done which would cause an OOP cost of almost $600. When I denied this, they declined services and said they couldn't perform the regular cleaning. I have since found another provider and will gladly be takin
I took my family to Frisco Crossing for years and had wonderful experiences. Today my son went and we discovered it was under new ownership. He sat in the chair for an hr being pitched obscene amounts of unnecessary services. Each person who came in contradicted the last, saying he had different issues, no issues, dire issues. Gingivitis, health gums, cavities, no cavities. He needed a root canal one minute and a wisdom tooth extracts the next. But apparently after reading all the recent reviews, he was not alone in this. They never cleaned his teeth as they tried to tell me he needed beyond what my insurance would cover. I pulled him out of that office and ran. I can’t imagine this business model will last long.
