Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital

We arrived at Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital for a TEE and cardioversion procedure with Dr Kevin Boran at 9 A.M. 12/19/2025 and after an hours-long wait, all went well. The delay is not unusual. Cardiac surgeons never know what emergencies may arise, or office visits that require additional time, that interrupt their scheduled appointments. When that happens, think domino effect. We were not made aware of the nature of the delay today but we understood and made the best of it. It’s the nature of the profession. While we were waiting, the staff made us comfortable, asking if there were anything we needed and kept us informed as to when the procedure would begin. I had a gastric bypass surgery on March 20 2023. It was the greatest experience ever. I had the best team of nurses. They all wished together to get prep and ready to go. The place was beautiful, cleaned, and felt so relaxing. Dr. Ma did an excellent job. Thank you to all the staff for helping me get through this new journey. Today almost 2 years later I find myself back in this very friendly, beautiful place, But now for a different situation. I was taken by ambulance to fresno community hospital because I experienced some excruciating pain in my abdomen. I came to find out I had a huge gall stone that had really upset my gall bladder. My Wife had surgery there, the care was excellent. The surgery discovered some things we weren't expecting, but glad it was found. The staff and Dr's have been very supportive, we appreciate them so very much

I had surgery on 09/19 the gastric sleeve, my experience at this place was 1000000/10. I felt so well taken care of especially after such a serious surgery, the night shift staff was patient, helpful & caring. As for the building it is NICE, the recovery rooms are top tier & clean. I didn't want to leave lol I was cared for so well. lol My bariatric food they gave me was delicious, & they were on top of it making sure i got every meal. I HIGHLY recommend this place !

The Cafe is really great! Very friendly and helpful staff. Healthy food that tastes very good. Smaller portions and priced reasonably. Relaxing dining area. This place is a rare find. I wish they posted the daily menu somewhere that is easy to access.
