Fremont Bay Dental

I’ve been going to this clinic for about 3 years and it has always been a 5-star experience for me. The doctor is amazing, very detail oriented and provided great advice. However, my last visit was disappointing because of the dental assistant. She said she would brush and floss, but she only brushed briefly and skipped flossing. When I mentioned it to the doctor, the assistant came back and flossed very harshly, almost as if I was forcing her to do it. It ended up hurting. Her attitude felt quite unprofessional.

Highly recommend! My son’s dental appointment went so smoothly. Dr. Shah and her staff was gentle, kind, and very reassuring. They explained everything in a way he understood, and he stayed relaxed the whole time. Truly grateful for such a positive experience.

Dr Ortega was great but she retired and the new dentist (I think her name starts with S) is not one I’ll go back to. She has little bedside manners and talked at me instead of listening. She argued with me over procedures she thinks I’ve had done with an attitude that she knows better than me and she was not gentle on areas of sensitivity (I have some gum recession from when I used to brush very hard but it doesn’t generally bother me). I felt like she was shaming me in general. I need a dentist I can trust in the future if/when I need something more than a cleaning.

Dr Ortega is a wonderful dentist and very thorough. Ana runs her office and is very nice and easy to talk with. If you are looking for a dentist I would recommend Dr Ortega.

Very efficient with time management, great communication, friendly environment. Dr. Cecilia is very very passionate about her job and goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are doing good in general.
