Freedom Drug

I often go to CPU Freedom Drug Store because they are an authorized United States Postal Service in-store shipping center and they accept packages to mail or ship until 7pm on most days. This includes a scale and scanner to check in your package and give you a receipt showing that it has been shipped. This store is hard to see from the main road and looks plain on the outside but don't let that fool you because it makes up for this on the inside. The entire store is neat and organized and the best way to describe their selection is a cross between a CVS drug store and a Hallmark - type card and gift store with a smaller selection of items from each in addition to the postal services already mentioned. I have been going to these people for my wife's prescriptions every month for almost a year and everytime I call to see if I can pick it up. I have an annoying unnecessary conversation with who might be the least helpful person there.when I have to deal with her the prescription is never there and it's never been sent in. . Its only one person there who makes doing this absolutely frustrating. I always have show up in person only to find that the pharmacist did in fact fill the prescription. I hate this place.

Main Pharmacy in Sparrows Point! It's like a smaller Drug City! People seem nice there. Only problem is they don't except most extra discount prescription discount cards! I got my prescriptions filled there and have Cigna insurance! I have type 2 diabetes and still had to pay for new blood sugar machine and diabetes stuff that's supposed to be free to low budget people. I was not very happy paying $90 for BS machine, the strips, needles and metformin, Omeprazole, Lisinopril! I'll probably go elsewhere from here on out. My family has too many medications to afford the cost u have to pay cause they won't accept the other prescription discount cards. Other then that they sell awesome Yankee candles and many other health products and stuff u can use from a pharmacy.

So convenient. I especially love the fact that they have the post office drop off in the building.

While getting a prescription filled I was shorted a number of pills I was tilde they would have the balance in a couple of days. A week later my husband went in to get them and they were so disorganized they seemed not to know what he was asking for, finally they told him they were not in yet but would be in in a couple of days. Another week went by and again they still didn’t have them when I called and were to busy to give me an answer, they would call me back. In the meantime I am running out of the medicine. Time to move on to a new pharmacy!
