Franciscan Care Center

Please do your research and review when looking for a facility for your loved one. the therapist was wonderful to my mother, but the personal care for what she needed was not there. my mom was left neglected and had to endure conversations from aides that should not have been done. this was not a positive experience for my mom with her conditions, it left her feeling as if she did not belong there. Every time i addressed an issue, it was responded as if they had a script for different problems and concerns. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK

I cannot praise The Franciscan Care Center enough. We have been in and out of rehab facilities over the last few years. This is the first place where “care” is the first and foremost concern. My husband is not the easiest customer; but the staff have been amazing with him. Like all these places, there are quirks you have to accept. However, they are more than made up for by the approach and overall kindness of the people involved there. I would recommend it to anyone!

I just love the Franciscan care center. From the administration and the amazing staff. There is so many nice things to say about this place. The food there is amazing. The rooms are spacious. The place is always so clean. We came to this rehab center so my mom could get adequate rehab and their team over there is amazing. The nurses and aids are so kind to my mom. They make her feel special and taken care of. Please, I would recommend this place to anyone who has a loved one who needs special care. If there was six stars I would put stars.

My grandmother Catherine Foster was in this facility and these staff mistreated her so poorly.She say in her own urine,left out with barely any clothes,hasn't been checked up on like she was supposed and they doped her up on sleeping pills so she would be quiet.I've heard a lot of bad things about this place but this took the cake and I'm not happy at ALL!! THEY MISTREATED MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER AND OTHER ELDERLY FOLKS THAT'S SUFFERING THE SAME FATE! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Overall, a clean facility, but the care is lacking. Had my mother there for five days of respite care. Within two hours of her leaving, she already had had a fall. They are very short staffed and it takes them between 40 to 60 minutes to answer a patient call. When I came back at the end of week, I found her with breakfast all over her shirt, stains on her clothes and no pants on. My mom is a very proud woman and was absolutely mortified. They didn’t get her out of bed the entire time she was there. Never took her to the chapel, never offered to take her outside… Nothing. There were a few bright spots. Housekeeping was very friendly and nice and always helpful. (they are so shortstaffed that housekeeping was doing the work of an aid.) She also had two nurses that were attentive and very
