Foremost at Sharon

Everyone at Sharon helped us, as a family, care for my mother in law, Nancy. Everyone always had a smile for us. The activities ladies, physical therapist , the business team, the director, the nurses , the receptionists ,as a team I could feel that people had her best interests at heart. A big shout out to Violette , the head nurse. She not only cared about Nancy, she cared about us too. She always made a point to check in with me and reassure me everything was going to be alright , and she always managed to get in a great big hug ! Thank You!

The nursing Staff and CNA’s are the best care you will find! I decided to keep my brother here because of the dedication and care they give him. The facility needs to be updated but the care is a number 5! Best nursing staff I’ve found for dementia! The owners need to use some money in paint or come see this place!

My mother has been a patient at Foremost for about 6 months, initially for rehab and recently transitioned to long term care. My siblings and I have come to know and respect the staff during our frequent interactions while visiting our mother. What's special about Foremost is the staff including the Administrator, Steve; the Director of Nursing, Violette; the Nursing and CNA staff; the Admissions Director, Tamara; the PT and OT staff; the Activities Staff; and the helpful receptionists. These professionals have shown my family and especially my mother kindness, patience, and compassion. They are always available to address any concerns. I have witnessed how each of the staff go above and beyond to treat everyone with dignity and respect.

My stay was only for one week. It was the first time I've accepted the recommendation to go into a rehabilitation center rather than home after a number of surgeries & hospital stays & wish that I were able to individually rate departments. The care staff(CNA's) were great & very helpful. With the only exception of urinals not being checked & emptied regularly overnight, I really have no complaints. The kitchen & meals were horrible. Too many times I was served meals that were not what I requested, items that I either don't eat or just didn't want or meals were ice cold. I addressed these problems a number of times & was told that the head of the food service was going to visit me personally & could address with him, but that meeting never happened & the meals just continued to be unaccept

This facility is absolutely unacceptable. It smells terrible, the environment is unhygienic, and patients are clearly not being properly cared for. My grandfather has been left sitting in soiled diapers for over two hours multiple times. When we brought our service dog during a visit (which is fully allowed under ADA law), my grandfather needed a diaper change — but the nurse refused to enter the room to help him simply because of the service dog. That level of neglect and disregard for both patient needs and federal disability rights is appalling. The staff also told him he was needy because he asked for his diaper changed. They also ran out of diapers when my grandfather needed changing and laughed about it. I spoke with a manager recently and they said they would address the staff but p
