Food Lion Pharmacy

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had to deal with with any pharmacy. The woman that works here has no idea what she’s doing and has zero customer service skills. I asked to have a prescription transferred because of a skin infection on my leg that was being resistant to antibiotics. It’s been an extremely painful and annoying experience and as we were leaving our home town we forgot to go by the pharmacy to grab the topical I requested from my dr. We went shopping at food lion for groceries when we got in town and I asked the woman in person if she could transfer my prescription. She then tells me I have to call my pharmacy and have them call. I call my own pharmacy and they tell me that’s not how that even works and they have to call them. I call the pharmacy back over t

Great, but please be aware that the pharmacy closes for lunch from 1:30-2pm M-F - this is a VERY important factor that is not mentioned anywhere on their website, though it is on the message if you call. Also, the pharmacy closes early at 2pm on Saturday and is also closed on Sunday.

They were amazing! They did not have my whole prescription available so they filled a partial and the woman at the front was so very nice and helpful! She did a wonderful job and made sure to give me the best price possible! Thank you 🙏

always clean and friendly and quick service

During an attempt to pick a prescription for my wife I was assisted by Melody. My insurance was being difficult and the cost was very high. Macy without hesitation began to search for comparable prescriptions and possible discounts. The line began to grow and she never showed any signs of frustration or pressure. She continued her research for me, all while assisting other customers in line as well. She showed remarkable discipline and professionalism and put forth more effort than was ever expected. She is a true asset to the pharmacy and deserves recognition. Thank you for all you do!
