Fokas Eyecare

I am updating this because Dr. Fokas made my issue right. TLDR - the optician was not helpful in keeping me within what is covered by my insurance. They seemed to have one goal and that was to get the most $$ from me as possible. I spoke to Dr. Fokas some time after and he made things right. All this to say, beware of your insurance and what is covered, ASK QUESTIONS. This was originally a 1 star review being updated to 3 because of how great the Doctor was...he just may need to rethink his optician.

Dr Fokas and his staff are amazing. I have been bringing my 2 children here for 11 years. Dr Fokas and Dr Basin are kind and gentle. They never rush when doing a thorough exam despite the fact that we have insurance that is 2nd rate at best. I really appreciate the classy way that they run their business. It is never a problem to ask questions. Now that I need reading glasses, all three of us come here. You will be seen very close, if not exactly at your appointment time. I feel like my eyes are in good hands here at Fokas Eyecare.

This review applies to the Dr Monica Bhasin. A few weeks ago, I had something stuck in my eye, a tiny metal scrap that caused me to not open my left eye. I called the office, and the receptionist told me Fokas isn't in, but Dr Bhasin is able to see me within 2 hours since it was an emergency. I went there and within half an hour she took it out my eye and she prevented the worse from happening. It's very rare for a doctor nowadays to take u in the same day, let alone the same hour without making an appointment and she took me in right away. Esepcially when everyone's on vacation. Very kind and knows what she is doing, I highly recommend her to anyone who needs anything eye related.

the Fokas EyeCare is an excellent establishment ! the Doctor and desk staff are very professional. the Doctor took the time to explain my injury. the resceptionist at the front desk were helpful. keep up the good work

Dr. Fokas is such a great doctor. I highly recommend him, he helped me alot with my vision. Thank him and his nice staff.
